Release and Beta Update Guide (until GeoDin 10.1)
GeoDin can be updated to either the latest release version or the latest beta version. Choose the method that suits your needs.
1. Update to the Latest Release Version
Online Update
Navigate to the System tab at the top left of the GeoDin user interface.
Start the Online-Update method under the System Configuration node.
The online update downloads about 15 MB into ...\GeoDinFolder\Update. While the files are replaced, GeoDin creates a backup directory ...\GeoDinFolder\Backup_<timestamp> and stores every replaced file there, so the online update needs no manual backup step of its own.
